Last week four diamond equipment companies , producing state of the art
machinery and equipment for the diamond industry, held a seminar in Gaborone -
Botswana, and two days later in Windhoek - Namibia.
Norsid Engineering - South Africa, Lexus Softmac - India, Rico Tools and HRD-Antwerp
Equipment both from Belgium, presented their products to all the licensed sight
holders and manufacturers in both areas. This cluster of 4 tool manufacturers
are very much committed to provide complete and efficient equipment for these
plants. Each of the tools & instruments manufacturers are very complementary to
each others' products, so that they are able to deliver complete installations.
During this seminar LEXUS-Softmac focused particularly on their rough and
polish analyzers; the
HeliumRough
and
HeliumPolish, with special attention on
M-BOX. RICO TOOLS presented their full program on polishing and sawing
equipment. HRD-Antwerp Equipment puts special attention on EOS, their bruting
machine and on D-SCOPE, a microscope for examination of diamonds. Norsid
Engineering is the agent/partner of these three companies in the South African
region, and will guarantee a full service to the customers and prospects in the
region.
This
seminar was very much appreciated by all of the diamond manufacturing companies,
not only for the complete program, but also for the info on the latest high
technology developments and realizations that came lately
in
the market. Accuracy, quality, ease of operation and dedicated customer service
were key-words during this 2-day conference.
Such
initiative will for sure be reorganized in the future, not only in this region,
but also in other diamond manufacturing centers in the world. " |
